Two assaults reported on UH-Manoa campus

An alert was sent out to students after two separate assaults were reported on the UH-Manoa campus on Thursday.

The first happened just before 2 a.m. outside the Hale Aloha Cafeteria.

Two people were assaulted by a group of five males for no apparent reason.

The attackers fled before the victims could get a good look at them.

The second assault happened around 9:30 p.m. in Saunders Hall.

A man was accosted by a stranger in his office.

The suspect is described as a 5’10" male, wearing a jersey-type shirt with a torn left sleeve.

Anyone with information on these incidents are asked to call campus security or HPD.
