The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the flash flood watch for Oahu through late night.
According to the NWS, unstable atmosphere and abundant moisture will continue to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to the smaller islands.
This is in addition to already saturated grounds will result in the continued threat of flash flooding.
