The National Weather Service has extended the flash flood watch for Oahu, Kauai and Niihau through late tonight.
According to the NWS, unstable atmosphere and abundant moisture will continue to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to the smaller islands.
This is in addition to already saturated grounds will result in the continued threat of flash flooding.
