A tourist from California died after being pulled from one of the Ko Olina lagoons. It happened Saturday.
A witness said the man had been snorkeling at lagoon four. The city medical examiner identifies him as 62 year-old Tien Chiu of Hacienda Heights.
Paramedics were also called to Ko Olina around 9:00 a.m. Sunday after a 17 year-old boy was pulled from the water.
A witness says the boy jumped into shallow water at lagoon one and went under.
