The city is delaying the start of rail work that will shut down Old Farrington Highway for two weeks.
Officials say a separate utility project is taking place in the area and needs to be completed before work on the rail project can begin.
That means the closure of old Farrington Highway from Kualakai Parkway to Old Fort Weaver Road, which was set to begin on Wednesday, is on hold.
