Caley was recognized by witnesses as a homeless man who spent a great deal of time hanging around in the vicinity of the Bowling Center.
A DJ providing entertainment for the Bowling Center’s Rock and Bowl Night gave chase after seeing Caley grab the cashbox. The DJ wrestled the box away after chasing Caley down an alleyway. Caley then ran away. Police picked him up a short time later.

According to testimony, Caley walked back and forth in front of the Bowling Center door a couple of times before grabbing the cashbox.
The jury deliberated a little over an hour before finding Caley guilty as charged.
Caley faces sentencing on October 11 at 8:00 a.m. when he faces up to 5 years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000.
