Big Island police investigate rash of brush fires in Kau

Big Island police are investigating a rash of suspicious brushfires in the Kau district over the past month and a half.

The first fire happened on June 14 and burned about 200 square feet. 

There were three brushfires on June 18th. The largest burned 4,500 acres.
A brushfire last Friday scorched 10 acres.
200 acres burned in a fire on Sunday.
 
Anyone with information is asked to call Big Island police.
