UPDATE: Honolulu firefighters retrieved the body of a man from the Makapuu Lighthouse Wednesday morning.
The city medical examiner identified him as David McKenney, 45, of Honolulu.
Police say McKenney was reported missing Tuesday and they believe he may have committed suicide.
An autopsy to determine his cause of death will be conducted Thursday.

Honolulu firefighters and police are responding to a report of a stranded hiker and the possible discovery of a body in East Oahu this morning.
There are several police officers and fire trucks out at Makapuu Beach park.
No word if the two incidents are related.
