A 27-year-old Kalihi man has been charged in connection with his mom’s murder.
Charlie Hernane was charged today with second degree murder.
Hernane was arrested Wednesday after his adoptive mother, Teresita Hernane, was found dead inside her home.
Police say she had a major laceration on her head.
Charlie Hernane’s bail is set at $100,000.
He’s expected in court Monday.
