A woman accused of trying to run over two police officers has been charged with the crime.
26-years old Leinette Reyes is charged with attempted murder and auto theft.
Crime Reduction Unit officers had been trying to stop Reyes just before 8:30 p.m. Friday night in Kaimuki and that’s when she allegedly drove at the officers.
The officers shot at her, but she managed to take off.
Police caught Reyes an hour later in the Punahou area. Bail is set at $20,000.
