Board of Water Supply crews are responding to a 12-inch water main break at the intersection of Cooke and Auahi Streets.
Approximately 15 businesses are without water at this time.
A water wagon will be positioned near the site to provide water for the affected businesses.
All lanes of Auahi Street are closed between Cooke and Koula Streets.
The two mauka bound lanes of Cooke Street are closed.
The two makai bound lanes are being contraflowed to allow one open lane of traffic in each direction.
Special duty police officers are on site to help direct traffic flow.
Work is expected to last throughout the day.
