CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking the public’s help in locating the driver of the SUV that may have been involved in a fatal Kaneohe hit-and-run.
Investigators want to speak with the driver of a gold colored SUV that was in the area at the time of the collision.
On August 7 around 9:30 p.m., Lany Salva, 38, was crossing Kamehameha Highway south of Pahia Road in a marked crosswalk, when she was hit.
She was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
Police say the vehicle last seen heading towards Windward Mall. Police also say there may be damage to the front end.
