A Honolulu Police officer was taken to the hopsital Sunday morning after being hit by a vehicle.
It happened on the Kunia onramp to the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction.
The officer was standing outside of his police vehicle when he was struck. Other details of the crash are unknown at this time.
EMS officials say the 29-year-old officer was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
