City Council meets Wednesday on vacancy

The Honolulu City Council is meeting in a special session Wednesday morning.

At 10 a.m. the council will discuss how and when to fill the seat left vacant by US Senate candidate Tulsi Gabbard.

The council is looking into whether to add the race to the general election ballot or to see if a mail-in vote would be better.
