Honolulu Fire Department officials say the fire that broke out on Koko Head Avenue and Sierra Drive was brought under control just before 7 a.m. Friday.
There was extensive damage to the single story home.
Three people were home at the time of the fire, but they were able to escape without harm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
