The Humane Society of the United Sates is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for tips related to animal smuggling.
The announcement comes in the wake of an investigation into illegal deer smuggling on the Big Island that also involved the transport of Mouflon sheep to Maui.
Two suspects tied to the case pled guilty this week to various wildlife crimes.
The reward money is for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
