Students at Le Jardin Academy in Kailua have some new amenities to go with the new school year.
A nearly 4,000 square foot outdoor sports center was dedicated at the school Friday.
New volleyball and tennis courts have been added, along with a salt-water pool and basketball courts.
One major donor for the project was Masu Dyer, who’s active in the local athletic community and with tennis organizations.
"I’d like to come by once in a while to see them on the courts and I’d actually like to hit some tennis balls with them," Dyer says.
The school received $100,000 in donations to cover the $600,000 cost.
