Kuhio Day parade to bring changes and traffic

Saturday, March 26, hundreds will gather to celebrate with the Annual Kuhio Day parade in Waikiki.

But there’s a change this year from the normal event.

Instead of an afternoon parade, it will start at 10 a.m., making its way down Kalakaua Avenue to Kapiolani Park.

Kalakaua Avenue will be closed during the parade, so drivers in Waikiki can expect delays.

At Kapiolani Park, there will be a Hoolaulea from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. with arts and crafts, food booths, and music, all in celebration of Prince Kuhio.
