Tragedy on Oahu’s North Shore, a one year old boy died Saturday after being pulled from the water.
Fire officials say the boy and his family were at a surf spot known as "rock piles" on Oahu’s North Shore.
They say he was playing near the shoreline, they lost track of him for a little bit and next thing they knew, they found him unresponsive.
That was around 6 p.m.
An off duty lifeguard started CPR.
The boy was then taken to Kahuku Hospital in critical condition.
Police say he was later pronounced dead and they’re investigating the case as an unattended death.
