A Kauai woman is accused of stealing nearly $300,000 while working for the old Gay and Robinson Company.
Leilanie Coma Valenciano is charged with nine counts of theft and 228 counts of falsifying business records.
According to prosecutors, she worked for the company as an accounting clerk.
The thefts went undetected for more than four years, from ’04 through ’08.
Coma Valenciano has pled not guilty to the charges.
