The former All-WAC selection was traded to the Pats on September 1st by the St. louis Rams, who drafted him out of U.H. in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL draft.
Salas was dealt for a late-round 2015 draft pick, and was reunited with his former offensive coordinator in St. Louis, Josh McDaniels. He was inactive in the Patriots week two loss to Arizona.
