Maui police have made an arrested in a fatal hit and run case.
A man’s body was found lying on Pa’ia Bypass Road near Baldwin Avenue just after 8:15 p.m. Sunday.
Tuesday morning an officer found the vehicle believed to be involved in the case in Skill Village.
It’s registered owner was arrested and released pending further investigation.
The victim has been identified as 56 year-old Gregory Lee King.
This is the 19th traffic death on Maui this year.
There were 12 at this time last year.
