Mililani woman falls 300 feet while mountain climbing with friends

A woman in her 30s was rescued from the Pali this afternoon.

Fire officials say she was mountain climbing when she fell about three hundred feet from a trail at the lookout at about 10:15 Tuesday morning.

One of her friends saw the whole thing.

It took rescuers three hours to get to the victim.

And the ground gave way underneath her and so then she grabbed the useless webbing cuz it broke webbing is thin nylon ribbon type what’s around your neck.

We can hear her yelling I’m sure she can hear us yelling hang on the chopper’s coming it was devastating" says the woman’s friend.

The victim was taken to the Queens Medical Center in extremely critical condition.
