Friday night was the launch of "Third Fridays in Kaimuki."
The restaurants and shops from Koko Head Avenue to 8th Avenue will open their doors to the public every third Friday of the month, from 6 p.m until 9 p.m.
"Kaimuki has a lot to offer so we want to have people come and see what we have and what we do, so this looks like a good way to do it," said organizer Silvana Alfonso.
"It’s a really good opportunity I think for people to come out here and showcase their work and help support the community too," said artist Kenji Croman.
The next "Third Friday" event will be on October 19th.
