Emergency Medical Services officials say a 15-month-old girl was taken to the hospital after nearly drowning Saturday morning.
It happened just after 12 p.m. in waters off of Sand Island.
EMS officials say the girl was pulled out of the water after being found floating face down.
Officials say the girl was taken to a local hospital in serious, but stable condition.
