A man accused of attacking another man with a sling shot made his initial court appearance today.
Akiori Shorey is charged with first degree terroristic threatening.
Police say on Saturday, he allegedly approached a man at a bus stop in Kalihi and started shooting him with a sling shot.
The man tried to confront Shorey and that’s when Shorey allegedly threatened him with a knife.
The victim ran away but was hit in the back.
Shorey was later identified and arrested by police.
