There’s a new option to get to Hana without driving the treacherous road.
Mokulele Airlines on Monday launched its inaugural flight from Maui’s Kahului airport to Hana airport.
The 20-minute flight seats nine passengers on a cessna grand caravan plane, and provides views of the Hana coast line.
Tickets start at $59 each way.
The option to drive doesn’t sit well with many visitors as the twisting, winding road takes two hours or longer.
