Maui ranch owner sentenced for guiding an unlicensed hunt

A Maui ranch owner who pled guilty to guiding an unlicensed hunt was sentenced on Monday.

Jeffrey Grundhauser admitted in federal court that he took an unlicensed hunter to shoot game animals.

He didn’t know the hunter was an undercover agent.

Grundhauser was given one year of prohibition and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.

He must also pay a $15,000 fine.
