Governor Abercrombie declares October Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Governor Abercrombie on Tuesday officially declared October Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

In Hawaii and nationwide, events will be held throughout october to spread awareness about domestic violence.

Also starting this year a new state law that bars employers from discriminating against victims of domestic or sexual violence.
