Last summer, Aloha Island Mart reopened it’s flagship Kahala location.
And the innovations included in the two million dollar remodel are being recognized by the industry.
"Cconvenience Store News" gave the store top honors in the "sky’s the limit remodel" design awards.
Among the highlights of the store…a "beer cave"…a soda machine with 100 flavor combinations…and Hawaiian architectural elements.
The renovation is part of a $20 million dollar plan to refresh all 44 Aloha Island Mart stores.
