Billionaire Larry Ellision is revealing more about his plans for the island of Lanai.
In an interview with CNBC he said he wants to make the island more environmentally friendly.
Ellison says he plans to convert sea water around the island into fresh water.
He also wants more electric cars on the island, and hopes to increase its fruit exports to Japan and other markets.
Ellison bought most of Lanai from billionaire David Murdock in June for an undisclosed price.
