More Hawaii public schools are showing improvement on test scores.
The state Department of Education says six more schools made adequate yearly progress after an appeal.
This includes Kalani High School, Pahoa High and Intermediate, and Mokapu Elementary.
Now 49% of 286 public schools statewide made AYP.
