Hawaii County Fire Department crews have contained a brush fire in Kailua-Kona.
So far, officials say the fire has burned about a dozen acres.
They say no homes are in danger, but as a precaution police closed-off a portion of Hualalai Road between Kuakini Highway and Queen Kaahumanu Highway.
The road has since reopened.
Tthe cause of the fire is not yet known.
