Now that the Medal of Honor convention is over many of the awardees and their families are now vacationing on the Big Island.
They arrived at Kona Airport Sunday morning and got a heroes welcome.
Hawaiian Airlines gave the Medal of Honor awardees and their families free round-trip tickets to the Big Island.
