Three hurt in parasailing accident

Some fun in the water turned for the worse Saturday after three people got hurt in a parasailing accident.

Officials say the victims, a 32 year-old woman, her 36 year-old husband and their eight year-old daughter were on a parasail together when the wind apparently snapped their cable.

All three were dragged across the water for a period of time.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. off Kewalo Basin.

Paramedics took the three to the Queens Medical Center with serious injuries.

The other eight people on board the boat at the time were not hurt.

Officials are still investigating the incident.
