Three years ago, Tesla motors showcased its fully electric $100,000 roadster in Hawaii.
The company showed off its new EV sedan, the model S on Tuesday.
hile not as fast as the roadster it still gets to 60 in 6.5 seconds and can travel 300 miles on a full charge – a lot farther than most other EVs.
t seats up to seven people and is a bit more affordable than the roadster with prices starting just below $50,000.
Reservations are now being taken for the 2013 production run.
