On this edition of Hawaii’s Most Wanted, we feature a Maui man who’s a suspect in an attempted murder case.
Maui police and CrimeStoppers need your help in finding Josiah Okudara.
"Officers were sent to the area of Olena Street in Wailuku, Maui, on reports of gunshots being fired. Upon arrival they identified a male with a single gunshot wound to his left thigh area. Transported him to the hospital and Okudara was named as a suspect in this case," said Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.
That incident happened on July 24, 2010.
He was indicted by a grand jury in October.
"On the second case that we’re looking for him is that he is a person of interest in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on May 14, 2011 at 1:08 a.m. on Kahekili Highway between Waihee and Kahakuloa," Buffett said.
Okudara is now wanted on two grand jury warrants totaling $550,000.
He’s 22-years old, 5’6" and 180 pounds.
He also has several tattoos.
"He’s known to hang out in the Wailuku area and he has six prior convictions," Buffett said.
