An oversized boat stopped traffic on Kauai on Wednesday morning.
County officials say the driver hauling the boat on Kaumualii Highway in Waimea violated a number of state and county traffic codes, including not having a permit to haul the big load.
The highway was closed for about ten minutes, while the driver was ordered to park the boat until a proper permit was obtained.
