"Click it or Ticket" campaign launches today

Police are on the look-out for drivers and passengers who don’t buckle up.

Monday, May 23 marks the start of the national "Click it or Ticket" campaign.

From now until June 5, police officers will be looking for anyone not wearing a seat belt.

Those who aren’t will be fined $92.

Last year, officers handed out over 2,000 tickets for seat belt violations during the campaign.
