A Kauai woman is hospitalized and police have arrested a suspect following an apparent shooting in Koloa.
It happened at about 8 p.m. last night on Olona Street.
Police arrived to find a man barricaded inside a home, but convinced him to surrender without incident.
The woman was taken to Wilcox Hospital for a reported gunshot wound to her leg.
Her condition has not been released.
