Kauai officials say a 90-year-old man crashed his jeep into the Koloa Post Office on Thursday damaging the glass wall and hundreds of post office boxes.
The driver told officials he was pulling into a parking stall but was unable to stop his vehicle before it jumped a curb and crashed into the building.
Repairs to most of the boxes are complete, and the post office will be open for business.
The 90-year-old man was not injured.
