The Hawaiian Humane Society wants to remind folks who need to evacuate to remember their four-legged family members.
Make sure you have your pet’s leashes/carriers and other provisions.
In the event pet-friendly shelters need to open, animals will not be admitted without a crate or carrier (one per pet) that’s large enough to accommodate the pet comfortably.
Pets need an ID tag, collar and leash, as well as a week’s supply of the following: food, medications and litter for cats.
