Honolulu police have shut down Wilikina Drive following a deadly crash.
According to officials, the incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday
Police say a pickup truck was traveling northbound on Wilikina Drive near Kaukonahua Road when it struck the back of a Jeep. The Jeep then crashed into two other vehicles and immediately caught on fire.
Emergency Medical Services officials say the driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene.
Six other people were injured in the crash.
Officials say a man in his late 20′s and a woman in her 40′s are in serious condition.
Four other victims are reportedly in stable condition.
Wilikina Drive is closed from Kamananui Road and Kaukonahua Road.
At this time, it is unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
