The approaching super storm is making people along the East Coast sit up and take notice.
Tens of thousands are being told to evacuate coastal areas of Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, parts of New York City and other vulnerable areas. Transit systems and schools in the large eastern cities are being shut down.
Airlines are canceling thousands of flights and Amtrak is scaling back train service. Even the New York Stock Exchange will close its trading floor Monday.
