Lawsuit filed against Senor Frog’s Waikiki for sexual harassment

A lawsuit was filed on Friday by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleges nine female employees at Senor Frog’s in Waikiki were repeatedly sexually harassed by management.

The E.E.O.C. alleges that the workers were groped, grabbed, even ordered to perform sexual favors for Senor Frog’s managers.

The restaurant closed in August.

It was part of the Mexico-based chain.

Senor Frog’s officials could not be reached for comment.

Altres, a locally based staffing company, was also named in the lawsuit.

Altres says it did provide payroll services for Senor Frogs between 2008 and 2009, but in a statement it said, "We never provided or managed staff and had no involvement in restaurant operations. We’ve been named in the suit simply because our name was on the paychecks."
