Democratic candidates and their supporters lined the street outside of the State Capitol Friday afternoon.
They called it the "Linda Lingle Furlough Friday Festival."
Lingle said in a statement that the rally is a false attack against her.
Lingle will face representative Mazie Hirono in the race for the U.S. Senate seat.
