In observance of General Election Day, County of Kauai offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 6 along with all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, the Kaua’i Resource Center, and the Kapa’a and Waimea swimming pools.
All HI-5 bottle redemption centers that are normally open on Tuesdays will be open except for the one located at the Kaua’i Resource Center. Puhi Metals Recycling Center will also be open. Residential refuse pick-up will continue as scheduled.
The Kaua’i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on General Election Day as well as on all other county holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
