Two people were injured in a fire early this morning in Pupukea.
It happened just after 1 this morning at a two-story structure near the Foodland on the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Pupukea Road.
The victims, a 44-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, were taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns..
Reports say the fire may have been started by candles. Folks in the area say the home has been boarded up and abandoned for some time.
