A major in the U.S. Army is the newest recipient of the Lex Brodie’s Above & Beyond Award.
Maj. Andrew Staiano was presented the award at Wet ‘n’ Wild Hawaii Water Park on Monday for his work in serving the community.
Staiano volunteered countless hours to working with school children and young adults.
He has also raised money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Staiano will continue his volunteer work next year in Guam, where he will devote his time to helping build a school and roads there.
