Bail has been reduced for a Kauai man accused of killing his wife six years ago.
Darren Galas is being held on $300,000 bail.
On Tuesday, a judge reduced his bail from $1 million, citing the bail listed for similar cases.
In January 2006, 27-year-old Sandra Galas was found strangled in her car.
Darren Galas was arrested in October due to improved DNA technologies and a new cold case unit.
A jury trial is set for April 1, 2013.
